Not every web developer loses sleep over a slow load time or a misaligned grid. This one does. If something has my name on it, it needs to reflect the best of what I can do — that’s not a policy, it’s just how I’m wired.
The goal is simple: build websites that clients are genuinely proud of. Sites that work hard, look sharp, and hold up long after launch day.
Experience
The ground covered.
Nearly 15 years of building for the web has covered a lot of ground. Custom WordPress themes, static sites, bespoke e-commerce platforms, and CMS systems built entirely from scratch. Integrations with everything from Google APIs to live transport data systems. Two WordPress plugins built. One submitted to the WordPress repository and currently pending review.
How I Build
From scratch. Every time.
There are no page builders here. No Elementor, no pre-bought themes, no bloated plugin stacks doing jobs that a few lines of clean code could handle better. Everything is built from scratch — because that’s the only way to guarantee it performs, stays secure, and doesn’t break when a plugin update decides to rearrange things.
When building with WordPress, ACF is used to construct pages around exactly what each client needs to manage. The result is an editing experience that’s straightforward and purpose-built — not a generic interface full of options that have nothing to do with their site.
Where third-party tools and integrations are needed, they’re chosen carefully. Where they’re not, they don’t get added.
Design
With a brand or without one.
Some clients arrive with a fully formed brand and clear guidelines. Others are starting from scratch and need help finding their visual identity before the first page is designed. Both are fine.
Working within an existing brand, interpreting guidelines, and knowing when to push back respectfully is part of the job. So is building those guidelines from nothing when there’s a blank page to start from.
