The Problem
Cheap sites are expensive.
Page builders and stuffed templates ship with megabytes of code your visitors will never use. Every plugin added, every drag-and-drop shortcut taken — it adds up. The result is the same on every project: slow loads, frustrated users, and Google rankings that drift down month after month.
It’s not just a performance problem. A slow or generic-looking site tells visitors something about your business before you’ve had a chance to say a word. First impressions are made in milliseconds, and half your visitors will leave before your homepage has even finished loading.
The good news is it’s entirely fixable. It just needs to be built right.

What I Build
Two things, done properly.
Every project is different, but the approach is always the same — hand-coded, built for the long term, and delivered without the bloat. Pick the right tool for the job.
Custom Wordpress
WordPress themes, hand-coded.
For businesses that need to update their own content, run a blog, manage products, or hand the site to a team without calling a developer every time something needs changing.
Everything is built from scratch — no Elementor, no Divi, no off-the-shelf theme that someone else’s brand is already living in.
Just clean, purposeful WordPress that does exactly what your business needs and nothing it doesn’t.
- Hand-coded theme, no page builders, no bloat
- Built with ACF for structured, reliable content editing
- A site you or your team can actually edit
- Pricing from £1400
Static Websites
Static sites, made to last.
For businesses that want a fast, sharp online presence without the overhead of a CMS. Brochure sites, portfolios, landing pages — anything where the priority is speed, reliability, and a site that just works.
Pure HTML, CSS and just enough JavaScript. No database, no server rendering, nothing to hack or slow down. Loads in under a second anywhere in the world, and costs a fraction of traditional hosting.

Why Me
Here's what working with me looks like.
-
Hand-coded
Every line written by hand. No page builders, no template debt, no code you didn't ask for. What goes in your site is there because it needs to be.
-
Fast by default
Consistently high Lighthouse scores on every launch. Performance isn't something added at the end — it's built into every decision from the start.
-
SEO-ready from day one
Clean semantics, proper heading structure, sitemaps, schema, and robots configuration all sorted before go-live. Google can find you. That's the point.
-
One person, not an agency
You email me. I reply. There's nobody else involved, no briefing process. If something needs changing, you ask and it gets done.
The Proof
Don't take my word for it.
These are live production scores — not a demo environment, not a hand-picked test. Run the same Lighthouse audit Google uses and see for yourself. On these sites, on yours, on any site you want to compare.
The difference between a well-built site and a template isn’t subtle. It shows up in the numbers every time.

Recent Work
A few sites I'm proud of.
Mario Jarcu Salon Concept
Mario Jarcu Salon Concept is a one-chair barbershop where every appointment is deliberate — and the site needed to feel the same way. The design is dark, unhurried, and premium: deep ink backgrounds, warm gold accents, cinematic photography, and a typographic scale that gives the whole thing weight without clutter. Nothing competes for attention because nothing needs to.
What makes it work is that the site commits. There’s no hedge, no safe middle ground — just the real work, the real prices, and real reviews from real clients. A custom content system means Mario can update services, hours, and holiday closures without touching code, and the booking section connects directly to where clients actually book. It’s a site that feels like the barber it represents: precise, unhurried, and completely sure of itself.
Client Octopus
Client Octopus needed a site that could make a genuinely useful product feel trustworthy from the first scroll. The design is clean and confident — tight typography, a restrained palette, and enough whitespace that nothing feels crowded.
Product screenshots are woven into the layout rather than bolted on, and the pricing section guides rather than pressures, with clear visual hierarchy that makes the right choice feel obvious. The result is a site that works hard without showing the effort.
WP Mailblox
WP Mailblox needed a site that matched the clarity of what it offers — and the design delivers exactly that. The layout moves logically from hero through features to pricing, with generous whitespace and tight typography keeping everything readable without feeling sparse.
The email template preview grid is a standout moment: rather than describing what’s possible, it just shows you. It’s a site that respects the visitor’s time — focused, professional, and easy to trust.
CodieVolt
Codievolt is a studio site that earns credibility by practicing what it preaches. The design is purposefully restrained — high contrast, clean type hierarchy, and almost no decorative flourishes — which itself says something about how the work gets done. The hero makes a direct statement and the layout follows through without fuss.
What makes it work is the confidence in the restraint. There’s no padding for the sake of it, no elements fighting for attention. The result feels considered rather than minimal for minimalism’s sake — exactly the kind of site a development studio should have.
